Welcome to sunny Grogg Island; a wonderful getaway nestled in the sparkling cyan seas 33 miles off
the coast of the oppressive Dragon Valley. Gaining 8 out of 10 stars in Scum o the Earth magazine,
Grogg Island is the number 1 choice for any self-respecting brigand during their exile. From sandy
beaches and grotty bars to dangerous jungles and spectacular panoramic views, our island caters
for all tastes. Plus, we are surrounded by a dangerous reef which ensures capturing passing
merchantmen is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Grogg Island has been inhabited for over 300 years. The first settlers were head-hunters and
cannibals. These activities are still practiced by The Wikuqu tribe on the east side of the
island so any trips eastward should be taken with caution.

The island was named by Captain Wretch, a privateer in The Royal Navy of King Dragos III
in reverence of his favourite drink. Captain Wretch was exiled due to mistaking a ship-of-the-line
for one of Zaks dreadnoughts. He ploughed a devastating broadside into the vessel sinking it within
8 minutes (a record at the time!). The merciless king banished the dashing captain to build his
home on this wonderful jewel of the ocean.

When he arrived he took half of his men and disappeared into the jungle never to return.
Some say that Wretch found a way off the island and lived out his days in anonymity but others
believe he couldnt bear the thought of someone stealing his treasure and so buried himself alive
along with his gold. However, any budding treasure hunters beware; Captain Wretch will surely not
give up his precious cargo so easily.

So when The King sends you into unjust exile think of us living the buccaneer's dream and
join us on the wonderful...GROGG ISLAND!
